THE MODERN MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT.

Training students in a high school robotics lab to interface, program and maintain robotic and automation technology is an essential skill-set for the Industry 4.0 advanced manufacturing world. Sometimes referred to as “cobots”, these collaborative machines are helping to build a safer, more efficient, productive factory of the future, where workers are freed up to focus on more skilled and innovative tasks, and production is “real-time” responsive to customer needs.

Mechatronics is the synergistic combination of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, information technology and systems thinking, utilized in the design of products and automation processes. Festo Learning Systems products provide the ideal environment for Mechatronics training.
