Mechatronics and Robotics

THE MODERN MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT.

Training students in a high school robotics lab to interface, program and maintain robotic and automation technology is an essential skill-set for the Industry 4.0 advanced manufacturing world. Sometimes referred to as “cobots”, these collaborative machines are helping to build a safer, more efficient, productive factory of the future, where workers are freed up to focus on more skilled and innovative tasks, and production is “real-time” responsive to customer needs.

Mechatronics is the synergistic combination of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, information technology and systems thinking, utilized in the design of products and automation processes. Festo Learning Systems products provide the ideal environment for Mechatronics training. We are proud to partner with Festo Didactic as a mechatronics lab equipment supplier for New England schools. We aim to support and educate teachers on the global tech advancements that are ushering in a 4th revolution in the worldwide Industrial sector.

Testimonials

“When we received an advanced manufacturing grant from Governor Baker, AET was a great resource to guide us through the process of design, equipment selection, and installation. Our program is now equipped with equipment that will provide our students with cutting edge technology which will prepare them for college and career readiness.”

Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School

“AET Labs has been our savior in creating the Blackstone Valley Education Hub (BV Ed Hub)! The Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce was fortunate enough to receive a large Work Skills Capital Grant from the MA Department of Higher Ed to create fabrication, design and computer labs. AET Labs provided us with the expertise and know-how we needed to successfully reach our goals. . . At the end of the project we got rave reviews from the community, our students, teachers, schools and our legislators.”
