Russell Eckel, PhD

Russell Eckel brings years of experience in corporate and adult education and workforce development.  Russ’ areas of expertise include; adult education, job training, work and technology issues related to the modern workplace, organizational change management and training program development and administration. 

Russ has an advanced degree in business and labor economics, which supports his work as a training program developer and grant writer.  Since he has experience working with industry, education and government agencies, Russ knows and understands the adult education and workforce development stakeholders from all angles.  He is the former owner and founder of the Nommos Consulting Group and a former Director of Adult and Continuing Education at Shawsheen Valley Regional Technical HS. 

Russ now works with school districts in support of the development of new or existing vocational/technical education programs.  He has helped prepare numerous successful grant applications as part of his on-going work in the field of career and technical education.
