The Festo Industry 4.0 Certification Program (FI4.0CP) is a comprehensive certification program that ensures students have qualifying skills upon completion, including technical and soft skills such as effective communication, managing others, and critical thinking. The program allows students to transition into various production, technician, and engineering jobs in high-tech and advanced manufacturing industries.
FI4.0CP integrates easily with existing certificate, Associate, and Bachelor's degree programs. Festo Didactic partners with NC3, the trusted certification accrediting body in the industry, to ensure students are well-trained and ready for technical careers by:
- Deploying the industry's best trainers
- Designing a rigorous curriculum
- Providing access to simulated smart factory equipment and learning systems
There are three levels to the certification, with several credits students must pass at each level.
- Level 1: Fundamentals - establishing foundational skills
- Level 2: Advanced Mechatronics - building technical competency
- Level 3: Industry 4.0. - achieving career expertise
